Citron & Grey

Citron and grey are the perfect color pair. I was reminded of how much I love them when I was perusing House Beautiful and saw Schumacher's new ad. Citron is a happy and bright color (a greenish yellow. I much prefer it to a straight yellow), so elegant grey tempers it nicely. I can see this color combo being used in nearly any room of a house! Needless to say, when we were registering for our wedding, I was extremely pleased to find a delightful duvet set.

Enchanted Cottage

I visisted a friend a few weeks ago and saw her new apartment for the first time. It is unbelievably adorable! She and one of her roommates bought everything from thrift stores. Goes to show you don't have to have a huge budget to create a great space, you just have to have an eye for design and a knack for budget shopping!

She said they call it the Briar. How fitting! I love when it feels like things have been obtained over a long period of time (but she said she and her roomie knocked it out in one night!!).
